Single view of IT Infrastructure
Many organizations have invested
considerable time and effort in point
solutions that comprehensively address a portion of the infrastructure,
(i.e., the WAN or Server farm). These systems are generally rich
in features yet only a small portion of the functionality is utilized
because of complexity.
Over time, and as organizations experience staff turnover, these complex
management systems fall into disuse and frequently end up gathering dust
in the corner. Yet, what an organization really needs to know is
whether or not a key application is readily available - and if there are
any dangerous trends across the infrastructure that could affect access
